Extension Of Exhibition Period Of T2E E.A. Granted (25/09/2008)
Member for Ballina MP, Don Page, has advised that the Department of Planning has granted an extension of the exhibition period of the Environmental Assessment for the Tintenbar to Ewingsdale Pacific Highway Upgrade.
“The EA will now be on public display and open for submissions until 31st October 2008 from the previous deadline of 29th September 2008,” Mr Page said.
Mr Page made representations seeking an extension of one month.
“I am pleased that the Department of Planning has granted this extension as it is a large document and contains a substantial amount of information for members of the public to read and comment on,” he said.
The Environmental Assessment has been on public display since the 27th August 2008. Submissions will now close on October 31st 2008.
The document is available to download at www.planning.nsw.gov.au or www.rta.nsw.gov.au. Alternatively it can be viewed locally at the Ballina and Lismore Motor Registry offices, or the Ballina and Byron Shire Councils.
